Today we went for our second maternal fetal medicine appointment. I was preparing myself to hear bad news. Actually, we instead received great news. While it is still too early to tell, there were no gross abnormalities of the heart. This means that most likely there are no major cardiac abnormalities. However, it is still too early to tell if there is something like a whole in between two chambers of the heart. The kidneys also looked normal. We are so excited and are cautiously optimistic.
